And life with Brandon Darnton- an HB alum, MSU basketball player, friend, and hooper turned entrepreneur
SUPPORT THE FIRST UNIFIED GIRLS AND BOYS BASKETBALL DEVELOPMENT CLUB IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN AND GET SOME SWAG!
I’ll never forget that call from a Northern Michigan kid who used to train with HB (who now is my friend Brandon Darnton).
“Hey Trev, I want to walk on at Michigan State,” Brandon said.
“Are you sure?” I laughed. “Izzo going to be on you like white on rice, my dude.”
“Yeah, I’m sure.”
“No, then he’ll like actually fry your rice too.”
“I’m good with it.”
“Well, let’s see what we can do about that,” I said.*
And so it began—a lifelong friendship and admiration for a little Harbor Springs kid who attended Petoskey Basketball and HB camps as a teenager.
This is his story of basketball, entrepreneurship, and developing into an amazing human.
